A teen's poetry slam performance is exploding on social media because of its profound outlook on the teen's place in society as a young, white male.

A teen's poetry slam performance is exploding on social media because of its profound outlook on the teen's place in society as a young, white male.

Fourteen-year-old Royce Mann titled the piece, "White Boy Privilege."

The Atlanta 8th grader said a course called Race, Class and Gender inspired him.

He took home first prize for the poem back in May.
