Viral video marks the end of chemotherapy for local woman

THE WOODLANDS (KTRK) -- It's a heartwarming video that's been shared over 18,000 times and viewed by thousands more on Facebook. For Shamira Williams, a mother, wife, and most of all, a survivor, the viral video marks the start of a new beginning.

"I went to the doctor today and the doctor told me my levels were low," Williams said. "Then she told me I was done with chemo."

On May 3 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in The Woodlands, Williams was able to ring the bell after 15 rounds of chemotherapy and put a mark on her journey fighting breast cancer. Although she's done with chemo, Williams still has surgery and radiation ahead.

"Thank you Jesus!" Williams shouted.
