Celebrate Piñata Day with a bash of your own

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- It's Piñata Day! A day to celebrate the fun, colorful and creative party favors that make any get-together a little more festive.

The tradition of filling piñatas with goodies dates back centuries. You can buy one at any number of Houston stores or, if you're feeling ambitious, you can make your own!

Eyewitness New consumer reporter Patricia Lopez said with her four children she buys at least four piñatas a year.
