WASHINGTON, D.C. -- DACA, or the Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals, has shielded 800,000 "dreamers" from deportation since it began in 2012.

President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 that he will be ending DACA.
