The German Shepherd was found in his crate on a bus that was transporting Harvey flood evacuees.

According to the people who volunteered to foster the dog, they will take care of the canine, who they affectionately named Harvey, while they searched for the owner.

It's not known who may have left the dog and whether it was by accident.

The evacuation effort throughout the area has pushed many shelters in the area to allow pets along with their evacuated owners.
