Man's body found in downtown parking garage
Investigators say it appears as if the man was trying to call for help when he collapsed

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police have identified the man found dead in a parking garage in downtown Houston, but they still don't know much more than that.

According to Houston police, at around 10:45pm Sunday, Cory Roussell, 27, was found on one of the parking garage floors at the CenterPoint building at 1111 Louisiana Street. A security guard, who makes rounds every eight hours in the garage, discovered the body. Roussell suffered apparent blunt force trauma to the head, but an autopsy is expected to determine his official cause of death.

Hours earlier, police say Roussell was seen running down Louisiana Street at 4:50am Sunday.

Homicide investigators say the death is suspicious, and the victim may have been trying to call an emergency phone in the garage before collapsing.
