Man's body found in downtown parking garage
Investigators say it appears as if the man was trying to call for help when he collapsed

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There are still more questions than answers after a body was found in a downtown parking garage last night.

According to Houston police, at around 11:45pm, a body was found on one of the parking garage floors at the CenterPoint building at 1111 Louisiana Street.

A security guard, who makes rounds every eight hours in the garage, discovered the body.

Homicide investigators say the death is suspicious, and the victim may have been trying to call an emergency phone in the garage before collapsing.

We still don't know who the person is, what they were doing in the garage or how they died. But the case is being treated as a homicide.

Below is a statement released by CenterPoint Energy this morning.
