HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A suspected drunk driver inadvertently called police on himself early this morning in north Houston. He claimed he had been attacked by a security guard at a club. He also claimed he hadn't been drinking.
Police went out to the club and investigated. They determined the caller had not been assaulted and left. He called several more times.
A patrol unit spotted him driving through parking lots near the North Freeway and West Road. He went airborne several times before hitting a Fry's Electronics store sign. He was arrested.
