Sports car lands in surf after crashing over Galveston seawall

GALVESTON, TX (KTRK) -- A little red sports car ended up on the wrong side of the seawall in Galveston last night.

The driver of the red Audi convertible wasn't seriously hurt when he drove off the seawall near 86th Street.

Police say he was driving recklessly and hit two cars before landing in the surf. The car still had its lights on when an eyewitness viewer took this picture.

Although the driver wasn't hurt, the driver of a car he hit did suffer minor injuries.
