HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston Police are investigating a robbery at the Denny's located along the Southwest Freeway and Gessner.

Police say two men wearing masks, armed with a revolver and a shotgun, walked into the restaurant early this morning. They stole money from the cash register and then left.

Police say the two men then jumped into a van parked behind the restaurant and took off. The van was driven by a third suspect.

Police recovered the vehicle on Jason Street, just a couple blocks south of the restaurant. All three accused thieves bailed out of the van and have not been captured.

There were customers inside the restaurant the time of the robbery. None of them were robbed and there were no injuries.
