TEXXXAS porn expo relocated after venue cancels contract
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston has long been known for its booming adult entertainment industry, but an upcoming adult expo just lost its venue.
"I don't tell anybody what they can and cannot do," said expo organizer John Gray. "I don't expect anybody to tell me what I can or cannot do."
It's called TEXXXAS - a three day extravaganza with meet and greets, DVD sales, and merchandise demos from August 17th to 20th.

There's no nudity, but plenty of partial nudity.
It was scheduled to take place at the Hilton Houston Southwest Hotel.
"I signed the contract with Hilton in May and they basically sent me an email yesterday morning saying they were canceling my contract," Gray said.
So, what happened between May and today?
The National Center on Sexual Exploitation came out against the expo, demanding Hilton pull its contract.
"Not only the demand for sex trafficking and prostitution, but also the fact that it's linked to violence against women," said spokesperson Haley Halverson. "88 percent of popular pornographic scenes contain scenes of violence against women."
She says Hilton canceled its agreement with TEXXXAS just 48 hours after receiving the organization's concerns.
Hilton officials didn't return our calls or emails, but those with The Center on Sexual Exploitation sent us this statement from the hotel chain:
"Hilton is committed to respecting human rights and preventing sexual exploitation and we continuously review our policies to ensure we provide a welcoming environment for guests, employees and members of our communities."
Expo organizers plan to sue the hotel for breaking its contract.
They say they've already secured a new location, but wouldn't say where.
"The windows are going to be covered up and nobody is going to know the difference whether it's a gun show, Bible show, or TEXXXAS with three X's," Gray said.
