Search for suspects continues in driveway murder in NE Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators are searching for two suspects after a man was shot and killed in his own driveway.

It happened on Friday night on Booker Street just outside of the Loop in northeast Houston.

"Officers were flagged down while in the area in regards to a person that was shot multiple times. They found a black male with multiple gunshot wounds. We have no motive as to why he was shot," said Detective Crowder with the Houston Police Department.

Witnesses say they saw two suspects running from the area on foot and then say the two men go into a car. Officers didn't have much more information beyond that.

The victim was in his 40's.
