Texas Supreme Court rules on Kountze cheerleaders' religious banners case
The cheerleaders are victorious after the justices' ruling.

The Texas Supreme Court has issued an opinion in the Kountze cheerleader case.

If you recall, this is the case in which the cheerleaders sued the district over their right to write religious messages on their banners.

Today the court ruled in favor of the cheerleaders.

The court reinstated the lawsuit after the lower appeals court threw it out, saying Kountze ISD reversed the policy.

The court says the district hasn't proven it won't reverse their policy back at any point.
