A more than century-old mystery may finally be solved.[br /][br /]A self-confessed "armchair detective" claims to have finally figured out the identity of Jack the Ripper, the " TARGET="" REL=""]Daily Mail reports. And he claims he has DNA evidence to prove it.[br /][br /]Russell Edwards is releasing a new book where he claims Aaron Kosminski was Jack the Ripper. The Polish immigrant was one of the key suspects in the serial murders that haunted east London back in 1888. The 23 year-old Polish immigrant ended up dying in an asylum.[br /][br /]Edwards claims a blood-stained shawl he bought at an auction led him to the killer's identity. The shawl was found by the body of Catherine Eddowes, one of the Ripper's victims, and still held vital DNA evidence.[br /][br /]Edwards claims Kosminski was "definitely, categorically and absolutely" the man behind the grisly killing spree.
