ATASCOCITA. TX (KTRK) -- Two people forced out into the cold, wet morning watched as flames destroyed their home and two vehicles.

The fire broke out around 1:10am this morning at a house in the 7100 block of Lonesome Woods Trail at Atascocita in northeast Harris County.

When firefighters arrived, they pulled a second alarm and 40 firefighters arrived to help douse the flames. The fire ended up destroying the home, a car parked in the garage and a truck parked in the driveway.

It took firefighters about one hour to tap it out. No one got hurt.
