Conroe ISD substitute teacher accused of showing naked photos to students

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- A Conroe School District substitute teacher has been suspended, pending an investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct with students.

A 15-year-old Oak Ridge High School Ninth Grade Campus student says the teacher made sexual advances towards her.

"When I walked off, he put his hand on my lower back and rubbed his hand across my butt," the 15-year-old girl told ABC13.

The ninth grader claims the teacher started by showing her and a few other girls naked photos of women on a website.

"He said those are his honeys, he takes them on a boat and to a naked beach," she said.

The student says the teacher became aroused and when she got home, she immediately told her mother and uncle.

"I'm repulsed by it, repulsed by an sexual misconduct" said Jason Keen, the girl's uncle.

The family reported it to Conroe ISD. The school district issued the following statement Friday afternoon.

"Conroe ISD received a report that a substitute teacher allegedly engaged in inappropriate conduct with students. The substitute was suspended, pending the outcome of the investigation."

ABC-13 is not identifying the teacher because he has not yet been charged.
