Body of Houston man recovered from Guadalupe River

COMAL COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- The body of a 28-year-old Houston man was found Sunday along the Guadalupe River in Comal County after he went missing while trying to swim across the waterway on Saturday.

Richard Finney's body was found around 2pm on Sunday near the K&L Ranch Camp.

Finney went missing on Saturday around 1:30pm. Several agencies, including the New Braunfels Fire Department, the Canyon Lake Fire Department and the Comal County Sheriff's Office, searched for him, but he was not found until Sunday in the river.
