Police have not said if any of the robberies are related but it does appear all incidents have the same MO

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Another armed robbery played out at a late night eatery in North Houston.

Police officers say three armed men sporting masks and hoodies barged into the IHOP restaurant on Greens Road just off the North Freeway.

Investigators said the trio demanded money from the cash register and then ran off, jumping into a waiting Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Police say all three men got away.

Our ABC-13 Crimetracker found there have been five armed robberies at IHOP locations across Houston in just the last 30 days, including one on August 5th.

Masked gunmen also robbed an IHOP on the East Freeway near Uvalde back in June. Police have not said if any of the robberies are related.

If you have any information in this latest robbery, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers. That number is 713-222-TIPS.
