3 deadly shootings in Houston area
Three people died in three shootings at three different locations in the Houston area

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Three people were shot and killed at three different locations around the city overnight.

The most recent shooting was just after 2:30am on Houston's south side on the 13000 block of Cullen near Almeda Genoa at S&S Sports Bar. A fight started in the parking lot. Someone started shooting. Two men and a woman were shot. One man died at the scene.

A man and woman were taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown. A bullet also lodged in the window of the sports bar.

An hour before that shooting, Jeffery Harold, 22, was shot and killed in northeast Houston along the Beltway near the Eastex Freeway. He was pronounced dead at Ben Taub Hospital.

The night's third fatal shooting happened in southwest Houston in the 8000 block of Riptide near Sharpcrest just before 1am.

A man was found dead in a vehicle. The case was first thought to be a deadly accident, but police arrived and determined the man was actually shot in the 12000 block of Whitecap Labe, which caused his vehicle to accelerate and then crash into the backyard of a residence.

Police tracked the vehicle back to Whitecap Lane based on a call for service for a shooting.

The suspect in this case is believed to be driving a dark-colored SUV.

All shooters in these cases remain on the run.
