2 shot, 1 fatally, at apartment complex near West Loop
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two people have been shot, one fatally, at an apartment complex near the West Loop, police confirm.
The shooting happened just after 8pm at the Towne Plaza Apartments on Wild Indigo Street.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a male who had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
A second male who had been shot made it to the hospital on his own. He is expected to survive.
Investigators believe the shooting may have started as a home invasion.
