Shooting in southwest Houston leaves one dead
One dead after shooting at a stop light on Fondren.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man has been killed in a shooting in southwest Houston, according to police.

The shooting was reported on Fondren and Westpark around 1 a.m Friday.

According to police, a man in a white car pulled up to the stop light and someone opened fire.

"I don't know if there was exchange or there was one shooter, or if there were multiple shooters. That's what we're working on. Right now it's too early in the investigation to to say what exactly happened," said E.P. Aguilera with HPD.

One man was found dead with a gunshot wound to the chest after stumbling to a gas station parking lot.

A second male was dropped off at the hospital with a gunshot wound. Detectives are determining if the two victims are connected to the same scene.

Investigators are gathering surveillance video for more information.
