Large fire destroys vacant home near the Medical Center

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Firefighters battled a large house fire near the Medical Center most of the afternoon Friday.

Officials responded to the fire on Burgess Street just before 4 p.m.

The cause of the fire has not been released.

No injuries were reported.
