HOUSTON -- The Burea of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is asking for help in locating a man who looted a sporting goods store during Hurricane Harvey, stealing firearms and property.

The ATF released a picture of the suspect and Crime Stoppers is offering up to $11,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The suspect stole 12 firearms from the store located in the 10300 block of the North Freeway.

"We find it reprehensible that anyone would take advantage of a hurricane that is affecting thousands of lives by stealing firearms from a business. ATF is working tirelessly to find and hold the persons responsible for this crime accountable," said ATF Houston Special Agent in Charge Fred Milanowski.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20-28 years old, 5'7" to 5'10" tall, between 150 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a black Adidas track suit with white stripes down the side.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS
