Single mom screams in surprise at VIP ticket from kids to see Keith Urban
ROCHESTER, NY (KTRK) -- One hard-working mom's reaction to the surprise of a lifetime will give you all the feels. A New York woman who worked two jobs and raised her two children as a single mom got the surprise of her life when her kids gave her VIP tickets to to meet her favorite musician, Keith Urban.
Betty Mate couldn't believe her son, Jonathan, and daughter, Monique, splurged on the tickets, but her reaction is priceless.

In the video, Mate is beside herself. She screams and cries in disbelief. In fact, she is so overwhelmed that she didn't even understand that the piece of paper represented a VIP package for the Keith Urban concert.
"This was a big splurge, but we decided it was worth doing for her," Jonathan Mate, 31, told ABC News. "She has been a die-hard fan for a bunch of years now and it's just kind of escalated and escalated."
"What does this mean?" she asks repeatedly, nearly hyperventilating from the joy.
Jonathan said he was also so excited to give his mom the gift he could not wait for his sister, who had to work.
"No money could pay for the reaction," he said about the video. "I would have sold everything I own and live under a bridge to see that one more time."
Jonathan said he saw an even bigger reaction from his mom when they went to Urban's concert together and his mom had a chance to meet her favorite country superstar.
"I can't say that I've ever seen her so happy," Jonathan said. His mom brought Urban a t-shirt from a local guitar store and a happy anniversary card for Urban and his wife, Nicole Kidman.
Betty Mate is reliving her experience since the video of her receiving her gift has gone viral. The video touched so many people since it's a testament not only to the siblings' love, but to a mom and the impact she's had on the lives of her family - proving family is the best gift ever.
