Southwest Airline seats turned into handbags

VIDEO: Airline seats turned into handbags

Southwest recently replaced its leather seat covers with a lighter material to save on fuel.

The airline contacted a Portland, Oregon company to ensure the material didn't go in a landfill.

Looptworks turned 40-acres of leather into limited edition bags.

They have the weekender duffel bag, the tote bag and the backpack.

The hand numbered products cost up to $250.
