With that idea in mind Goodwill has partnered with ABC-13 to unveil a new series that highlights individuals who are striving to be the best that they can be and excelling, through the help of Goodwill's employment programs. Each month a different Goodwill employee, client, volunteer or donor will be featured and will share their story on how Goodwill changed their life. This month, we are highlighting San Jaunita. Meet San Juanita -- Success Story of the Month
Drug addiction almost cost San Juanita a relationship with her children. Her life was at an all time low. She decided that she needed to pursue a better life than the one she was leading, and she wanted to provide for her family. Goodwill gave her that opportunity! She started as a donation attendant and knew that she wanted to grow with the company! Today she is one of Goodwill Houston's most valuable Store Managers! San Juanita's life was changed by the power of work and Goodwill's mission.
