With that idea in mind Goodwill has partnered with ABC-13 to unveil a new series that highlights individuals who are striving to be the best that they can be and excelling, through the help of Goodwill's employment programs. Each month a different Goodwill employee, client, volunteer or donor will be featured and will share their story on how Goodwill changed their life. This month, we are highlighting Linda. Meet Linda -- Success Story of the Month
When Linda's husband had congestive heart failure, surgery bills piled up and left the couple bankrupt. They were forced to sell their home, and move in with a friend. Linda needed a job. At first she was worried that no employer would give her a chance based on her age. That all changed when she found Goodwill and their program for aging individuals. Goodwill understood all that Linda had to offer and made good use of all her skills. Today she helps all ages find work and success through Goodwill! Linda's life was changed through the power of work and Goodwill's mission!
