HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway after two people were found shot to death in a house in Houston's south side, according to the Houston Police Department.

Investigators said they were called out to a home on the 12800 block of Glen Hollow Drive after receiving a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, they found the bodies of a man and a woman who appeared to be in their 20s or 30s, according to HPD.

Investigators told ABC13 they believe at least one other person is involved.

"Investigators do not believe the victims shot each other. Police did not find weapons inside the home, and detectives believe a third person was involved," HPD's Lieutenant Pulido said.

HPD said they are still searching for the suspect and have questioned people who have a connection to the incident. They said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and there's no ongoing threat to the community.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Houston Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
