Firefighters battle huge fire in east Harris Co. as several area counties remain under burn ban

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Firefighters are working to battle a huge blaze on Church Road in east Harris County. Pallets are burning and threatening a neighboring house.

The fire broke out at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, though the cause of the fire is unknown.

No injuries have been reported.



With recent dry conditions, burn bans have recently been implemented for area counties, including Harris, Matagorda, and Fort Bend.
