On July 1, just before 11 p.m., Daniel Perez and Krystal Calvillo were riding their bicycles along Veterans Memorial in northwest Harris County when Perez was hit by a car.
Police said that when Calvillo stopped to help him, a second car came along and ran over them both, killing them.
The first car stayed at the scene, but the second vehicle never stopped, and now families are asking for the public's help finding that driver.
Following the incident, family members spoke to ABC13, pleading for the driver to come forward.

Daniel's mother, Guadeloupe Gonzalez, said her son would ride his bike on Veterans Memorial every day on his way home from work.
"You're a bad person, and if you have kids, God sees everything," Gonzalez said, distraught that someone would leave her son and his partner like that.
