All westbound lanes of Highway 290 are shut down at Highway 6 due to a fatal wreck involving an 18-wheeler and a wrong-way driver.



Authorities say a driver in an SUV was going eastbound in the westbound lanes when he hit the big rig head on.

Officials say it appears the SUV driver, who was killed, had been drinking.
