PREVIOUS REPORT: Man who coaches youth softball accused of online solicitation of a minor, Pct. 1 says
Nathan Velez, 37, was arrested Thursday following a two-month-long investigation by the Harris County Precinct 1 Constable's Office.
The married father from Magnolia first began messaging the undercover deputy on an undisclosed online platform on April 1, according to the affidavit.
In that first exchange, he's accused of writing, "You're killing me ... I wanna see your sexy gorgeous naked body."
When the deputy asked why he was on the site, he allegedly replied, "tbh I'm in a sexless marriage ... so I figured I'd see what's out there."
Velez was listed online as a girls' 12 and under softball team coach in Tomball.
He previously coached a different girls' softball team in Pinehurst, but the team wrote on its Facebook page that he hasn't coached for them since December.
In a message on April 2, deputies say Velez told the undercover deputy that he pleasures himself in parking lots on a daily basis.
Days later, he allegedly offered to buy her shoes, writing, "you're still a kid ... so wasn't sure if you fit into big girl sizes."
Deputies had originally arranged to meet Velez on April 14, but had to cancel due to another investigation.
He was arrested on June 11 and charged with online solicitation of a minor.
If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison.
Velez and his attorney didn't return messages seeking comment.
