HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A tip that black tar heroin was being sold at a home in southeast Houston led police to raid the house, resulting in a deadly shootout.
The Jan. 28 no-knock raid sent bullets flying in the small home owned by the Tuttles for decades.

In the aftermath, two officers were suspended and eventually retired. A third remains on leave.
The Harris County District Attorney's Office has charged fired Officer Gerald Goines with two counts of first-degree murder.
Former Officer Steven Bryant was also charged with a count of tampering with a government document.
Two HPD officers testified before a federal grand jury in the case, the Houston Police Officers' Union confirmed.
