Hurricane Matthew now a Category 3 storm

The National Hurricane Center reports Hurricane Matthew is now a Category 3 storm.

The storm has intensified as it makes its way through the Caribbean Sea.

Matthew is located just northeast of Columbia, but is expected to head towards Jamaica through the weekend.

The National Hurricane Center says Matthew has grown in strength and boasts 115 MPH winds.
