Lost luggage recovered 20 years later

TUCSON, AZ (KTRK) -- Two decades after Maria Dellos' luggage went missing, the bag finally found its way back to her.

Dellos, of Tucson, Arizona, says she almost didn't answer the call from the Transportation Security Administration, but she's glad she did.

Her bag was found with her hand-written note, with her address of the home she lived at 20 years ago.

Dellos told reporters recently, "When I looked at this note, it dated me as 20 years ago. And I was just absolutely blown away."

inside the luggage was Dellos' very valuable art supplies from a trade show she went to in Las Vegas. She says some of it is still usable.

Dellos thanked the TSA for returning the bag saying, it's restored her faith in the airline industry.
