Cement mixer fire slows SW Fwy outbound at Fountain View

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Traffic is slow on the Southwest Freeway outbound at Fountain View after a cement mixer caught on fire.

Crews are working to clean up the road right now and to have that truck towed away from the scene.

If you're headed to Sugar Land, you will want to pay attention. The right lanes are blocked off, but traffic is getting back on left.

Katherine Whaley said you can avoid the area by using Richmond or Westpark as your alternates.
