TRAFFIC ALERT: Wreck brings I-10 WB to crawl

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There's a major accident on the west side of town that's causing big delays.

It's happening on the westbound lanes of I-10 at Highway 6. The wreck happened in the managed lanes, but all main lanes were shut down for Life Flight to land and the resulting investigation.

A patient was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. At this point, we don't have word of that patient's condition.

Your best bet if you're heading west is to take the Westpark Tollway.
