Several freeway closures scheduled this weekend

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It's the weekend, and if you're planning to go around town, we have some freeway closures to tell you about.

Gulf Freeway:

I-45 will be closed southbound, from Dixie Farm Road to El Dorado. The closure happens nightly, from 9PM-5AM, through Monday morning. Detour to the feeder. Officers will be on site to direct traffic. Crews are addubg overlay to ramp to Clear Lake City Boulevard.

I-45 North Freeway:

There will be a nightly closure from 10PM-5AM on Friday and Saturday nights. The Northbound lanes will be closed from Shenandoah Park Drive to SH-242. Southbound lanes will be closed form Phantom Pines Drive to to SH-242. Drivers can detour to the feeder.

US-290:

Eastbound (inbound) lanes from Katy Hockley to Mason Road will be closed Saturday 6AM - 5PM. Feeder road is open.
