Pedestrian dies on North Fwy NB at FM 1960

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A person is dead after a crash this morning on the North Freeway at FM 1960.

An investigation into the crash is now clear and the northbound lanes of the North Freeway at FM 1960 are now open.

The crash made for some major backups for this morning's commute. Traffic was forced off the North Freeway at Richey Road.

Officials say the person who was struck by the vehicle has died at the scene.
