One dead, three others injured after accident in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY (KTRK) -- Authorities are at the scene of a fatal accident on I-45 southbound at Shepard Hill Road. Currently, only the left shoulder of the interstate is open.

Four people were trapped inside a truck that hit a sign pillar, according to Texas DPS. Three people were taken to Conroe Trauma Center in critical condition. One adult was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details have been released.
