Jackknifed 18-wheeler cuased delays for nearly two hours on East Freeway

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A jackknifed 18-wheeler blocked all but one lanes on the I10 East Freeway westbound near the I45 interchange for nearly two hours. The accident scene was cleared just before 6:00am.

Crews began working to clear the wreck since just after 4:00 this morning. The accident did cause some fuel to spill on the road.

There is no word on what caused the accident. It was raining at the time of the crash.
