FM 1960 reopens after driver decapitated, ejected in crash

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriff's Office confirmed that a fatal accident occurred on FM 1960 at Walters Road Wednesday morning.

The accident involved an 18-wheeler and a Honda.

The driver of the 18-wheel said that he was stopped at the light on FM 1960.

That's when the Honda driving 100mph westbound on FM 1960 hit the back of the semi and witnesses say that the accident sounded like an explosion.

Speed played a factor and the victim was ejected from the car and decapitated.
