Downed power lines closed freeway temporarily

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- I-10 east was temporarily closed in both directions near Sheldon due to downed power lines. The lanes have since reopened, but not all power service has been restored.

CenterPoint officials say a truck hit the pole, causing the lines to drop down across the freeway. They expect to have the power restored by early evening. Dozens of customers are impacted.
