Deadly car fire blocks lanes of I-10 East Fwy

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- At least one person has died as a result of a car fire on the eastbound lanes of the Interstate 10 East Freeway late this morning.

Houston police said several lanes of the eastbound freeway is blocked at John Ralston.

The police department also said the inbound lanes will also be closed as officers investigate the fatality.

Police advised motorists to find alternate routes.
