HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Rain and long lines didn't stop die-hard iPhone fans from waiting for days to get their hands on the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Today is the first day you can pick up a limited number of the new phones in Apple Stores across the country. At the Highland Village store in Houston, dozens of people waited in line outside for 3 days.
Pre-order sales began last week.
According to Apple, more than 4 million iPhones have already been pre-ordered. That breaks the all-time pre-order sales record. One of the biggest selling points is the larger screen.
The iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch screen. The iPhone 6 Plus has a huge 5.5-inch diagonal screen.
And with a new "reachability" multitasking feature and more features to come, it's expected to fly off the shelves.
