Barely beyond its infancy, the Clear Falls football team produced a playoff team just a year ago.
And when the Knights stepped on to the field for their first postseason clash ever, the result was a promising effort, although it didn't reveal itself in the win column.
Nevertheless, the foundation head coach Mike Zierlein established at Clear Falls was clearly solid and one which he hopes will hold firm for years to come.
But now is the future, and Zierlein is playing the hand he's dealt for 2014.
"We have the opportunity to be good," Zierlein said. "I'm very excited about the defense we have coming back.
