Preparations underway for Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony
CANTON, OH (KTRK) -- It's all about Michael Strahan this weekend at the Pro Football Hall of Fame along with six other inductees.
Strahan will not only be joined by NFL legends, his family and friends, but also a house band. Actually two of them.
Texas Southern's band the Ocean of Soul, and Westbury's band and dance team are joining in on the fun. Both will perform at the TimkenSteel Grand Parade. TSU will perform in front of Strahan, while Westbury will be behind.
Houston is well represented in Canton beyond Strahan's group. The Pro Football Hall of Fame is littered with Houston history. Not only are Hall-of-Famers Earl Campbell, Warren Moon and Bruce Matthews represented but the Texans have a few spots, including JJ Watt.
There was a display case has His Watt's uniform from the 2012 season. It has everything from the helmet, jersey, cleats, gloves, and pants that he wore during his 2012 season.
