HOUSTON -- Rockets backup point guard Patrick Beverley missed Wednesday morning's shootaround because he was arrested on an open warrant for a toll road violation.
The Pearland, Texas, police stopped Beverley on his way to the shootaround on a toll road that requires an E-Z tag pass. According to KTRK-TV in Houston, Beverley was arrested and later released after paying a fine for the Class C misdemeanor warrant.
The Rockets released a statement Wednesday afternoon saying Beverley resolved "issues related to his vehicle registration and E-Z tag pass" and "the team considers the matter closed."
Beverley, who has missed the past two games with a concussion, is expected to play in Wednesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.
