North Shore falls to Dekaney in girls basketball state semifinal game

SAN ANTONIO, TX (KTRK) -- In a showdown of the 6A girls basketball state semifinal, No. 3 ranked Dekaney was able to come away with an impressive victory over No. 2 ranked North Shore. The Wildcats defeated North Shore, 62-51, Friday night at the Alamodome.

Both teams went into the match with identical 36-1 records.

The similarities didn't end there. North Shore Head Coach Allison Campbell and Dekaney Head Coach Stacey Stroman are good friends and old roommates.
