HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Andre Johnson has told the Texans he wants to play for another team. That's the headline from an NFL.com report that says the issue that pushed Johnson over the top is the team's refusal to pay the $1M workout bonus in Johnson's contract.

The Pro Bowl receiver forfeited that bonus when he failed to show up for the Texans off-season workouts.

According to the report, Johnson asked the team to find ways he could earn that bonus back but the Texans refused.

Four teams have expressed interest in trading for Johnson but his contract and the cap space it will eat up will need to be addressed before a deal could get done.

There's still a long way to go before Johnson suits up for the Texans or another NFL team.
